Little Bean on your Wear OS watch

The Wear OS app is included in every Little Bean plan and during the free trial.

What you need

• An Android phone with the latest version of Little Bean.
• A watch running Wear OS 3 or later, such as a Galaxy Watch 4 or newer, or a Pixel Watch.

Install it

1. On your watch, open the Play Store.
2. Search for Little Bean, or look under Apps on your phone.
3. Tap Install.

Link it to your account

1. Open Little Bean on your watch. It shows a 6-digit code.
2. On your phone, open Little Bean, go to Settings and tap Wear OS.
3. Enter the code and tap Link watch.

If the code has expired, tap New code on the watch. To unlink a watch, open the same Wear OS screen on your phone and tap Unlink.

What you can log

• Feeding: tap Left breast, Right breast or Both breasts to start a timer, or log a Bottle, Pump or Solids.
• Sleep: one tap starts the sleep timer.
• Diaper: Pee, Poo, Pee & Poo or Clean.
• Growth: weight, length and head.
• Health: temperature, medicine or vitamins, and what you notice, like a cough or a rash.

Started a while ago? Press and hold Sleep, a breast side or a diaper type to set when it started.

Tap a running timer to pause, resume or finish it. If someone else started the sleep, you can still end it with End now.

Two or more babies? Tap the name at the top to switch.

Tile and watch face

• The Little Bean tile has Feed, Sleep and Diaper buttons. Sleep starts or finishes a sleep in one tap. Underneath it shows the running timer, or how long ago the last feed, sleep or diaper was.
• The complication puts that same line on your watch face. Tap it to open the app.
• While a timer runs, Little Bean shows on your watch face. Allow notifications when the watch asks, or it can't.

Add the tile and the complication the way you add any other on your watch.

Good to know

• Everything you log syncs to your phone and to everyone caring for your baby, like any other entry.
• The watch needs a connection, through your phone, wifi or mobile data. Without one it says Something went wrong. Try again once it's connected.
• Without an active trial or plan, the watch can't start or log anything and says Open Little Bean on your phone to upgrade. Pausing, resuming and finishing a running timer still work.

The code doesn't work?

• Check the six digits and try again, or tap New code on the watch.
• After too many tries, wait an hour before trying again.
• Make sure your phone has the latest version of Little Bean. The Wear OS row is in Settings on Android only.
